The ConnectSense team was in San Francisco November 18th - 21st in the Developer Zone showing off our sensors.  It was a great week filled with some excellent conversations with everyone who stopped by our table.  For those of you who were not able to make it or would like a quick review, here is some of what was shared at Dreamforce 2013:

  • ConnectSense is easy enough for consumers to use but powerful enough to solve real problems for business users

  • Sensors are shipping today for monitoring Temperature & Humidity, Water, Motion, Security, Light and Dry Contacts

  • The ConnectSense team utilized the proven and reliable WiFi standard to power their devices allowing us to focus on creating rock solid endpoint sensors.

  • Sensors can last over 3 Years on four rechargeable batteries

*Based on Water Sensor with 24-hour heartbeat, depends on sensor activity

  • ConnectSense output devices (Siren/Strobe, Digital Output, Power Relay) can be triggered from sensors anywhere in the world

  • The ConnectSense API is coming in early 2014 and will enable developers to do all kinds of exciting things with the platform

  • Our integration to Saleforce will be arriving in the first half of 2014 with the ability to trigger Chatter Messages, Helpdesk Tickets, broadcast pushes into Salesforce, and more.

  • We shared our vision of the Office of Things in our talk on Tuesday.  If you missed our talk you can check out the replay here:
