We'd like to make you aware of a situation that may impact the delivery of your orders. UPS is currently negotiating a new labor contract with their Teamsters union. It's been widely reported that if a new agreement isn't reached by July 31, the Teamsters will call for a strike on August 1, 2023. A strike would cause significant disruption to delivery times and impact all businesses shipping via UPS.
We are committed to doing everything we can to minimize the impact of a strike on the delivery of our products. To mitigate delays, we recommend making any planned purchases ahead of July 20, 2023, in order to limit the possibility of them being already in transit on August 1.
Additionally, our team is working to contact customers with existing orders with a requested ship date between 7/20 - 8/5. We aim to work ahead and get those orders out by July 24. If you would like us to ship with an alternative shipper, please provide us with the appropriate account number.
We're closely monitoring the situation and will continue communicating realistic delivery expectations.
